Repeatable AML workflows for analyst work, evidence capture, escalation and review governance.
The library translates AML concepts into practical sequences that can be connected to Regulation Map obligations and institution-specific SOPs.

1. Workflow taxonomy
| Workflow family | Used for | Main output |
|---|---|---|
| Onboarding and pre-approval | New customer, new relationship or proposed business model. | Subject scope, CDD file, initial risk rating and screening evidence. |
| Screening and re-screening | Sanctions, PEP, watchlist, adverse media, counterparties, banks, employees and vendors. | Search record, match resolution and disposition. |
| Event-driven review | Change in ownership, geography, activity, adverse information, unusual payment or policy exception. | Trigger analysis, refreshed risk assessment and decision. |
| Investigation and escalation | Potential red flag, possible match, suspicious activity or sanctions/trade concern. | Case file, escalation note, MLRO decision and reporting assessment. |
| Governance and QA | Review frequency, sampling, recordkeeping, statistics and process improvement. | Control assurance record and management information. |
2. Standard sequence
Most AML workflows follow the same professional sequence: define the subject, confirm the trigger, collect identifiers, select source categories, perform checks, resolve results, assess risk, escalate when required, document the decision and set the next review point.
3. Provider-neutral method
The workflow does not require one named database. A company policy may specify providers and thresholds; the workflow defines the control and evidence expectations.
